Hello, I am Dr. Jasmine Stephens and my private practice is dedicated to serving women’s reproductive mental health. I offer psychiatric expertise in mental health disorders at the interface of pregnancy, postpartum period, infertility, and preconception planning. At the core, my mission is to advocate for your mental health and recovery, helping you to live a fulfilling life during motherhood.
I am board-certified in General Adult and Psychosomatic Medicine (Consultation-Liaison) Psychiatry. My passion for women’s mental health developed as a fellow at Baylor College of Medicine where I trained at The Women’s Place in Houston’s Medical Center. Following this, I served as lead Women’s Mental Health Psychiatrist for the UT Southwestern outpatient clinic, offering care for patients with mental health concerns at the interface of pregnancy, postpartum period, infertility, and preconception planning. I also offered clinical care for individuals with mental health disorders impacted by gynecologic conditions including PMDD and perimenopause. As an academic clinician, I was actively involved in the medical education of medical students and residents and fellows training in psychiatry. I was instrumental in the launch of the UTSW hub of the Perinatal Psychiatry Access Network, a state-wide consortium offering real-time consultations for reproductive providers in Texas. Here I was a consulting psychiatrist, presenter for educational seminars, and collaborator on the initiatives workgroup. Through my private practice, I aim to continue offering this exceptional clinical care to the greater DFW community.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 dogs, family and friends, traveling, dance, and exploring the many vibrant neighborhoods of Dallas!
